Fished the day NW of Walnut with John. Choppy lake conditions gave us a bumpy ride with steady 3 - 4' waves primarily from the N to NW. Managed to box 2 walleyes while sorting through lots of junk. The walleyes consisted of 1 - 28" 9#er and 1 - 31" 10.5 #er. Fish came on mono w/ 4 oz and 7 LC off of the boards. Colors: RR - Toxic purple and Gator Bait BN; Speed 2.2
Both trips had to be cancelled due to high winds and waves.
Fished the day NW of the point with Eric and his family. Walleye fishing has been tough as of late and the steelhead fishing is heating up. Ended the day 2 for 4 on walleyes and 3 for 4 on steelhead. Program consisted of weighted RR's on the boards, diver and downriggers w/ spoons. Best Colors: RR - Toxic Purple; MS - deep purple
