Fishing Report – 06/13/20: I fished with Class of 2020 graduates Joey, Luke and Logan. Despite the rough lake conditions and the Lake Erie Flu, these guys gutted it out and boxed their 18 fish limit. Biggest fish of the day tipped the scales at 8#s. Thanks for hanging in their guys and best of luck in all your future endeavors!

Fishing Report – 7/12/19: Mark and I fished with long time customers Graham and Mike. 2-3’s out of the NW didn’t keep us from having a great day on the water. The bite was on and we easily boated their 12 fish Walleye limit with several throw backs. We finished the day with a nice box: 1 – 8#er, 1- 6#er and several in the 3-4# range. Thanks guys, great conversation and great fishing, see you in 2020.
Fishing Report – 7/6/19: Greg and I fished with Matt and Jackie. The forecast was uncertain but we lucked out and got great weather, great lake conditions and the fish were hungry. We managed to box their 12 fish limit of Walleye and went 0/1 for Steelhead. A fun a crew to fish with.
Fishing Report – 6/30/19: Another day of great weather and insane fishing with Joe, Joe and Dallas. We proceeded to boat their 18 Walleye limit in short order. This year it seems like it takes longer to clean the fish than catch them.
Fishing Report – 6/29/19: Greg and I fished with Bill and crew and couldn’t ask for nicer weather. The fishing was great too as we easily boxed their 3 man limit of 18 Walleye + a bonus Steelhead. The Walleye fishing this year is just unbelievable!
Fishing Report – 6/23/19: Mark and I fished with Mort and Scott. It was non stop action from the first rod into the water until we called it a day boating their 12 fish Walleye limit and also boating a nice limit box of Smallmouth Bass in the 4-5# range. Great lake conditions, great crew and great fishing!
We headed out with Mort and crew with lake conditions much improved from the previous day and easily boated their 24 fish Walleye limit. The crew did a great job on the sticks.
Fishing Report – 6/21/19 PM Trip: We headed out with Bill and crew into a brutal NW wind with a steady 3-4’ chop with an occasional 5 in the mix. Due to the heavy chop we modified our set up to a 5 rod spread. Despite the surf we boated their 24 fish Walleye limit. Hats off to the crew for hanging in there in less than ideal conditions.
Fishing Report – 6/21/19 AM Trip: Mark and I fished with Darrin, Hunter and Corey. An early AM north wind made for a bumpy ride out but in short order we boated their 18 Walleye limit with 2 bonus Steelhead, a bonus Lake Trout and several Smallmouth Bass.
Fishing Report – 6/16/19 PM trip: With conditions much improved from the morning, Curtis and I headed out with Todd and Don. We set up to find a ferocious bite and easily boxed their 12 fish Walleye limit, sending several back to catch another day. |
