Fished the morning NE of the point with Ray and his crew. NE winds gave the walleyes lock jaw and we only managed to put 2 in the box. With things being very slow at 11:am the crew decided to throw in the towel and call it a day. The Capt. used the remaining ice in the fish box for his chin.
Both trips had to be cancelled due to inclimate weather.
Ran NW of Walnut with Bob Z and his family. Sat down to the same screen as the previous day, full of fish and bait. Got 3 rods in the water and had a double on, looking to be a good day. Those two got dropped on the way in while trying to get the crew up to speed on how to bring these fish in. Got three walleyes in the box and dropped a few more while setting up. Got the last rod in and turned around to see three of the four crew members were green from the Lake Erie flu. The tough bunch did everything they could to hang in there but when things didn't get any better we made the decision to pick up and call it a day. Same program as the previous day.
