Fishing Report - 5/12/18: After a one hour delay at the dock to let a storm pass, we headed out at 7am with long time customers Rick and Dawn. We got the set into the water and found a steady bite. With more bad weather moving in and multiple lightning strikes nearby and on the radar we decided to call it a day at 10:am. We finished the day 9/10 on Lake Trout with the biggest of the day just over 16#s.

Fishing Report – 5/6/18: We headed out with Darrin, Hunter and Cory for another day of great weather and a grind bite. Starring at a blank screen much of the day we managed to salvage it by going 10/12 on Lake Trout with 2 bonus 8# Walleyes! The big Lake Trout of the day tipped the scales at just over 18#s.Fishing Report – 5/5/18: We headed out on our first Lake Trout trip of the year with Roger and his son Remi. With perfect spring weather we set up on a flat lake. With muddy conditions inside and clear ice water outside it made for a tough bite. We managed to end the day 7 / 7 on Lake Trout. What we lacked in quantity we made up in quality, 5 – 12 #ers, 1 – 13#er and 1 - 5 #er.
Fishing Report – 4/23/17: After very tough early spring fishing in the bay, we opted for a change of scenery making our first trip east in search of Lake Trout. After a late start switching the boat over into Laker mode, we covered some water looking for a good screen but the fish seemed to be scattered. After some searching we found a small area that was producing fish and were able to go 10/14 on Lake Trout before calling it a day. Fish averaged in the 6-12 lbs range. It was a great day to be on the water and knock the rust off of the Lake Trout program with friends.
With the water temps dropping and a few days of stable weather, I headed out with Scott and his crew to settle the score from the previous weekend. After covering some water and dialing in the program, it was game on as we boxed out going 10/10 on Steelhead and topping off the box with 2 Lake Trout.
Despite the major blow from NE to N over the past few days, I made the call to head out with Tim and his crew, staying close to port sheltered by PI. All we found was mud water and weeds. We called it after a couple hours, not finding any clean water or bites – 0/0 Ouch!
With Denny, his sons Ben & Jake and a couple of their buddies aboard, we decided to stay close to port with the winds picking up from the previous day. With a slow start we managed to hit one hot spot that dredged until it dried up ending the day 6/7 on Steelhead also boating a monster Smallmouth bass.
We headed west to fish the tribs for Steelhead with long time customers Rick & Dawn. With the hot summer and fall, water temps were on the warm side but we managed to end the day 5 for 8.
We headed north on picture perfect lake conditions with Rich and his family, and found a steady bite of big Walleye! We finished the day 13 for 17 on Walleye, 2/2 on Steelhead and boating a bonus Pink Salmon. The pink went 4# 2oz just short of the state record. A great day on the water.
We headed out with Steve and his crew making a left turn and taking the long ride sawing through the 2-3’ washing machine. We set up on a decent screen with the break and fish being deep. We managed to end the day 8 for 10 on Walleye, one of which was a good rigger fish that we dropped at the swim platform. Biggest of the day tipped the scales at 9 #s even.
